James is a retired sheep and cattle grazier from the midlands of Tasmania. His love of sculpture has been with him is entire life but only in recent years has he been putting that passion into practice.

Many of James’sculptures are built using recycled or salvaged materials from off the land or from industry. Metal that would have gone to scrap has found its way into many of James’ pieces.
